Mmm, giant box of bath bombs.

I went to Lush in Markham, Ontario yesterday (not my usual Lush, but I was visiting my boyfriend and he lives right by it. My bank account would be zero if I lived a 20 minute walk from the nearest Lush, personally) to pick up some hair things people suggested in this post.

I ended up getting Karma Komba, Ultimate Shine (instead of Godiva on the advice of a SA who thought it would be too moisturizing, plus, to be honest, I kind of thought the jasmine smell was too strong for me - maybe next time, though) and American Cream. I haven't used Ultimate Shine yet but I like the subtle but pretty smell. Karma Komba and American Cream are amazing. I can't believe how much Karma lathers - I stupidly thought it would take ages to get it through my hair, but I swiped it about five times total and I had triple the amount of lather as my old John Frieda shampoo. Once I rinsed it out, my hair felt cleaner than its ever been. The scent doesn't linger long, either, which I actually like - I have a feeling mixing the smell of Karma with American Cream would just be weird.

American Cream is great, too. It's nice and light, and I can use it on my roots without them getting greasy. I think it might be TOO light, because once my hair was dry it didn't seem particularly shiny (even thought it was amazingly soft and residue-free), but maybe I'll just have to use more than a penny-sized amount. I'm always scared to use too much conditioner, but I think with American Cream that won't be an issue :D

I also took advantage of the gift sale they're currently having - buy any $40 gift and get a $20 and under gift for free! For my $20 gift, I picked Sparkle, which comes with Sweetie Pie and Shimmy Shimmy. I haven't tried either, but anything that smells like The Comforter and YSTW is automatically a winner in my book. I'm not sure if I want to keep it for myself or give it away, to be honest :P

And for my $40 gift, I bought this amazing thing

Bathtime Favorites!

Crappy webcam pic, sorry, lost my camera. From the top left, it's Butterball, Honey Bee, Blackberry, Lush Pud, Cinders, Think Pink, So White, Big Blue, and Avobath.

Goddamn am I excited to try these out. I've only used three ballistics in the past, and this whole box (minus Big Blue and Butterball) includes everything I've always wanted but never tried. I am definitely hogging this one to myself.

I'm wondering if I should take out each bomb and store them separately, though. The entire box and everything in it (and my whole bedroom, now that I think about it) smells like So White. It's AMAZING, but I don't want all the other bombs to smell like it too. The scents won't mix, will they?

bath ballistics, shampoo bars, conditioner: american cream, tag needed, i bought
