Lushies! Favourite baths for getting over a hangover? I've got a massive one and I'm thinking a bath would be perfect to soothe it, only I've never tried it before
I would be careful about doing a hot bath with a hangover--you are dehydrated and probably low in electrolytes, and that's kind of asking for a vasovagal response, when your blood pressure suddenly dips. A cool or mildly warm bath might be an ok idea though, or if you first are sure to hydrate plenty and get some electrolytes into you (Gatorade, etc), then maybe a hotter one...But you could be asking for trouble with a hot bath (dizziness, nausea, fainting, etc).
you're right, i didnt think of the risks, even though i just read the post about blacking out after a bath a few days ago. i drank plenty of water and took a shower with ice blue like katecrust suggested below. i'll save the bath for later tonight.
"Ice Hotel" is one idea, but it's retro (only sold online). Same is true of Melomint and that delicious fennel dayglo yellow bubble bar that I can't recall the name of (Playdoze?)
Ice Blue soap is obviously cooling, but fun fun fun!
I think "Too Drunk" is the emotibomb for the job, but I prefer dropping 1/2 of it in the bathtub, or just steaming your face with it (using a tiny chunk in boiling water).
I think ginger and peppermint are good ingredient ideas. Toner Tabs are good ideas. You should trust your gut to find the perfect remedy, custom-tailored to you. :)
I like using either Demon in the Dark or Karma soap to wake me up and clear my head...never taken a bath to get rid of a hangover but like others have said, make sure you're well-hydrated before you do (green tea is wonderful for hangover headaches)
