So, last night, I tried out the Flying Fox temple balm. Flying Fox has the same sexy, yet oddly relaxing scent as the shower gel. The point of the temple balms are kind of like Bath and Body Work's instant aromatherapy. They're like instant mood enhancers.
The Flying Fox temple balm was designed to turn moody women into calm, relaxed ones and I have to say it worked very well. I put it on at work and I was surprised by how quickly my mood improved. Even one of my managers told me that my energy was incredible. The only issue I had was that the smell faded a bit too quickly, but that was okay. Good thing I kept it in my pocket.
The temple balms also can be used in the same manner as the solid fragrances, so fort hose of you who wish you could wear the sexy scent of Flying Fox shower gel as a perfume, pick a pot of this up... I promise you will not be disappointed.
Also, for the second time in under 21 days, I indulged in some Lush UK goodness. This time, I tried out getting some different things (prices are how they appeared on my order email and converted into USD:
*Karma solid perfume (UK price: $5.82, US price: $12.95)
*Chox Away soap (UK exclusive)
*Ocean Salt (larger pot: UK price: $12.89, US price: 32.95)
*Rock Star soap (UK price: $3.24, US price: $7.95)
*Miranda Soap (UK price: $3.36, US price: $7.95)
*Helping Hands cream (larger size: UK price: $7.00, US price: $17.45)
Add in the royal mail shipping of about $8.23... and my order came to a grand total of $44.02
This whole "ordering from Lush UK" deal is turning out to be a great idea. I have saved a TON, just with the OCEAN SALT ALONE.
But of course, I am going into Towson's Lush tomorrow because a) I heard there's a new US version of Lush times coming out and b) I'm out of toner. *giggle*
Thank goodness for having a Lush close by in case I need something ASAP....
