Lush UK Reviews
So, I got my Lush UK order yesterday and I've already used a few of the products, so thought I would do a little write up about them (it's my first review!)
Dark Angels cleanser: The hybrid baby of Coalface and Angels On Bare Skin. It's quite harsh, but I found it easy to use (it was my first time using one of what I call the "clay cleansers" (AOBS, Herbalism and Dark Angels). It also smells like Coalface. I will be honest and repeat that it's HARSH. If you're not a Coalface fan, I suggest you stay away. But on my first use, it left my skin feeling nice and clean. I will need a few more uses to be sure, but so far, despite my dislike of Coalface, I like Dark Angels.
Vanilla Dee-Lite lotion: I love this stuff leaps and bounds above Dream Cream and Sympathy For The Skin. Vanilla Dee-Lite is not in a pot like the other lotions, but it comes in a bottle. The consistency is not as thick as the other lotions (I can't speak for Karma Kreme), but the smell is absolutely wonderful! I spread this all over my body and my legs (which are dry as hell), are still nice and smooth. I really like it and this is definitely something you should try if you LOVE vanilla smells. It's nice and light, perfect for everyday use.
Sonic Death Monkey shower gel: All I have to say is this: what a RUSH! This shower gel is a crazy gravy mix of chocolate, lime juice and coffee that sounds like the most unlikely of combinations, but somehow it works and it works WELL. I think I'm in love.
