B Never Review!

Having just had my birthday I’ve received a beautiful array of B products and thought I would share my reviews with you all. Please bear in mind that my thoughts on scents are purely my own, and other people may decide that they suit other occasions better than the ones I recommend.

Small Keep It Fluffy Gift - With small body spray, bubble bar and lotion this is by far the most bang for your buck as the little gift boxes go. The keep it Fluffy scent is lovely, exuberant rose with soft vanilla notes. I could not wear this as an everyday fragrance though as I do find it quite girly and feminine.

Perfect when paired with a lovely summer dress, some unexpected March sunshine and a trip to the theatre with BF. I think Keep it Fluffy is a lovely Garden Party scent. It suits sunshine and girlyness. The bubble bar left my skin softly scented and very smooth. The lotion is simply lotion, but still very nice for layering. Rating: 8/10.

Small Love Gift - The love box contains a little apple shaped bubble bar, a small tester tube of love scent and some lotion. Compared to KTF’s whole spray it is rather a letdown. I found the bubble bar was the nicest part of the set, again my skin was left beautifully soft and it really captured the cinnamon apple scent. I found Love can be a little tart when it first goes on, like sour green cooking apples. After a while however it fades to a nice, lemony apple smell but the cinnamon fragrance does not appear.

Because of this lack of underlying spiciness I found Love to be an inoffensive fragrance that suited both dinner with my in-laws and something to throw on while meeting the girls. I think the more sunshine we get, and the more layers are discarded, this simple fragrance will really come into its own, as it doesn’t overpower, making it a good day scent. Rating: 7/10.

Sweet Lips Sugar Scrub - Chocolaty, divine sugar scrub that left my lips feeling amazingly soft. I love this. Rating: 10/10.

Make Up Travel Wrap - If you always wanted to test out B make up but were afraid then you should get this. Three eye shadow creams, mascara, lip-tint, cover up and a small KIF. I adore this little gift so much and it really is tiny, you can wrap it up and put it in your handbag and you’ll always be ready to make up for any occasion. This is a new product but well worth it. Be warned, however, in both the website and the catalogue the lip tint is described as Antique Rose in colour. It is not. It is red. This, sadly, means the kit is more suited to nights out make-up than everyday unless you’re one of those people who can bravely wear red any time it suits you.

The eye creams are Beam - a lovely gold that makes a beautiful base, Beleek - a demure pink that suits both mixture with Beam and being a stand out single colour, and Bedroom - a smoky brown that is again rather darker than pictures would suggest. The cover up is biscuit, the best seller, which suits an English rose skin tone whatever that is. I’m snow-white pale but found that blending biscuit covered up any unsightly blemishes.

Finally, mascara which is beautiful black Bewitch. Does just what any black mascara should do - made my eyes stand out. Only down side to it was that it is very wet so you will have to wait for it to dry before you blink, something I was unaware of and thus ended up with panda eyes. Rating: 9/10.

I have a few other things but since I’ve not yet tried them out I feel it would be unfair to give them reviews based just on how pretty they are - and they really are. All B packaging is simply stunning and would make any happy recipient coo with delight.
