UK return policy

I looked through the tags, but couldn't find anything answering my exact question. Basically, I have a tub of Celestial that I've had for about a month (dipping a clean finger in twice a day, etc), but it's horribly greasy on my skin. I was recommended it because I have sensitive skin, but it's just way too oily for me. In addition to this, the pot is turning into an oil slick as well- the cream is kind of tilted to the side because I took it somewhere, and all along the bottom of the pot is just oil, and all along the top of the cream is just pools of oil. Yuck.

My question is, can I return it for an exchange or even part exchange? I'm thinking it might have been a bad batch regardless of the fact it's wrong for me. I know I can't get a refund, but could I possibly exchange (and pay the difference) for something like Vanishing Cream?

EDIT: So, I went off to Covent Garden Lush, and the girl took one look at the cream, sniffed it, and said it didn't smell right and shouldn't have separated after such a short amount of time. It didn't even mix back up, still stayed all oily. So I got an exchange for Vanishing Cream (I should have said that I've been using a sample of it for a week or so now with no ill effects, and I really like it).
