I have tricky acne and I just started using Sweet Japanese Girl Cleanser. I love it! It really seems to work without drying my skin. That's not surprising since you rub oil on your face. The oil doesn't cause acne, however, because it keeps your face from producing too much oil. The other Lush cleansers I tried were way too drying (Coalfae, Fresh Farmacy, Ocean Salt). I also think my Tea Tree Toner is helping. All of the face masks I've tried have helped: Cosmetic Warrior, Brazened Honey, and Catastrophic Cosmetic.

It sounds like Sweet Japanese Girl might be right up your alley. Be gentle with it, and steam it off. The steam and moisture might help. When it comes to acne, sometimes it's all about SOOTHING. If you're too rough with your skin it will break out. Talk to your SA.

I don't want to be "age-ist" but how old are you? Acne in your late 20s is often times much different than in your teens. I am 33 with combination skin and using Ultrabland, with AOBS on top every other day keeps me super clear. My fresh face mask of choice is "Crashcourse in Skincare". It gets out the impurities, hydrates and soothes.

Good luck!

lol your not "age-ist" at all. I am 21 years old. My skin is a heck of a lot better then it used to be, as I get older it slowly goes away which is a relief but much of the stubborn stuff stays to spite me. :(
Steam sounds like a good idea. I was thinking of getting a toner tab to try. Hmmm...thank you so much for the advice. :D

I have similar skin. I use SJG a few times a week or to remove makeup at nights, followed by fresh farm (I start here in the mornings), TTW and Enzymion which I just started using and it's doing wonders for my skin.

I was thinking of trying fresh farm as well. Thank you, this helps a lot I know what I'm going to ask for when I got to Lush tomorrow.

Herbalism did jack for me. My regime is now Ultrabland at night, followed by Breath of Fresh Air. In the morning I do Angels on Bare skin, followed by Breath of Fresh Air and Gorgeous.

My skin has never looked better.

Fresh Farmacy can be terribly harsh and stripping. I'd only use it as spot treatment, myself.

Yeah herbalism didn't do anything for me. I was kind of bummed, but I did want to try Ultra bland if sweet japanese girl doesn't work. I think that's a good idea. I may just use Angels on bare skin in the morning first and the sweet Japanese girl at night and after the AOBS.
Eugh for Fresh Farmacy that's what Angel's does if I use it day and night. I get dry spots.
Thank you so much, I'm defiantly going to get a sample of ultrabland next time I go. You helped me a lot.
