My trial with solid shampoo

Last week I asked about Solid shampoos and over the weekend I got one and a new conditioner and I decided I would give it a try.  As I only wash my hair every other day (or else I tend to strip it and it gets dry and brittle) I used it on Sunday and again tonight.  The type I bought was Trichomania Solid Shampoo and the conditioner I used with it is American Cream because I just absolutely ADORE the smell of it.  (I had been given a sample of that from the store that I had tried).

The solid shampoo was easy enough to use and it really didn't seem to use a lot.  I was actually pretty surprised about that.  Now the website said to wipe it on your hair, but I just rubbed it in my hands and then rubbed my hand on my hair and then back on the soap until I felt I had enough.  The only downfall I've found thus far is the fact that the solid shampoo was not shaped for the shampoo tin so I am using an old plastic storage container that I had gotten something in before (That was an easy going green solution lol.  No dumpster for it - instead new life with lush).  The only problem that will create is when I travel, as it is a bit large and cumbersome, but maybe I could find a smaller travel soap container and cut some off for that.

As far as the conditioner went, it is easy enough to use, but I keep using it sparingly, even though I adore the scent, because it is kinda expensive and I want it to go as far as it can.  I do, however, love the smell of my hair and I have had a few friends say that it is shinier now.

So thank you for all of your help and suggestions!  I appreciated it a great deal!
