Just popping up again to throw out a request for recs of funny, hot, well-written PotC fics with basically any permutation of Jack/Elizabeth/Will/Norrington, because I've been looking on my own and it is a painful process. And you're definitely not the only one who thinks it's canon, Johnny Depp considers Jack bisexual. He had this great line (and of course, now that I'm looking, I can't remember where I read it) talking about how back in the pirate days, women on ships were considered bad luck and some of those voyages would last years at a time. He said something like "You get lonely, there's a lot of rum floating around, one thing leads to another.." and it was around that time that I sort of combusted. Apparently he came up with this from reading a book called "Sodomy and the Pirate Tradition", and he likes the idea of Jack being ambiguous, and there are no words for how much I love that man.

Also. *coughs* *nudges you towards Noire Sensus, the PotC slash fanfiction archive.* If you've already been there, I'll be dreadfully embarassed, as aside from potcot3 (Jack/Will/Elizabeth, and plenty of Norrington thrown in for free) and potc_recs (which is just especially awesome), I'm afraid that's all I've got. Oh, I know, he's awesome. I think that might have been in the Rolling Stone interview.

And, oooh, thanks! No need to be embarassed -- I haven't seen any of those yet. I basically just poked around LJ and got discouraged, so thanks a lot!

Awww, thanks! And of course you're welcome to add me, although I should probably warn you that I tend to go long periods without updating and then suddenly come back to life in a burst of "oh WOE and TRAGEDY" or random squealing about hotness.

No worries, my posts tend to be all geeking out about stuff and very little of my real life unless it's a burst of woe and tragedy, so, yay!
