drama on the high seas...or the yacht club!
So high sea drama today at the yacht club. About 4.30pm a big power yacht caught fire and was destroyed as was a smaller tender next to it. It was next to the fuelling jetty, there were a lot of photographers there so I imagine it will be on the news or in the papers, so here are the photos of the big boat, it resembles the boat in the top left corner on the first picture but the canopy is now disintegrated, leaving behind a charred skeleton and a smell of plastic and burning wood. it couldnt have happened to a nicer guy too! EDIT: it took 5 firetrucks and 2 hours to put out the fire which has now sunk the boat. All others in the area were evacuated for fear of oil damage
