I'm so excited for the Twilight Singers show tonight!
I think you should come too!
I'm not saying this because I need the company--they are one of my favorite bands and I'd be perfectly content seeing them by myself.
It's just that I sincerly think you would enjoy the show. I've seen them 5 times in the last 7 years and they have never failed to impress.
Their original,music is melodic, raw, edgy, and poetic. They have also covered everyone under the sun, including Nina Simone, Mary J. Blige, Johnny Cash, Fleetwood Mac, Bjork, John Coltrane, and, most recently, Massive Attack. Stereogum says " Man, they're just the best cover band ever. I get the feeling Dulli could take on Paris Hilton's single and make it sound heartwrenching."
