I put this separate from the Christmas entry cause I didn't want it lost in the shuffle. Found out from my brother recently that back in the day when I'd graduated my paternal family had decided to get me a school ring as I'm currently the only one of us to have finished university. As things were getting figured out and arranged my grandma died and so things got put to the side and largely forgotten. However, my brother's revived the getting me a ring thing. At some point I'm supposed to go in and get measured for it.
Not sure how I feel about getting a school ring. I've never really been an accessory person, especially when they're so expensive. At the same time I don't want to say to my family, thanks but no thanks. Maybe I'll really like it but at this point I'm not sure how I feel about it.
