Quick blogging here

John Archibald Wheeler has died at age 96. Many consider him the last of the physics giants of the 20th century. This was the guy who debated Einstein and Bohr, who was Ph.D. thesis adviser to Feynman (who died 20 years ago), and who coined the term "black hole." Oh, yeah, he was also a Unitarian Universalist who was married for 72 years until his wife died last fall. More here from SciAm.com and a thoughtful blog post from a much younger colleague.

Also, more stuff on Titanic's faulty rivets, on the 96th anniversary of the last day the great ship saw sunlight (and the 118th anniversary of my maternal grandmother's birth).

Am I getting a headache over this tax crud? Hard to tell.
