There was a change of plan, the Dark Lord told me some days ago. Draco is to befriend Potter. I'm afraid they are quite beyond that point...
Although severely enjoyable censoreage on the spikey bed with Severus distracted me for a while [more like a few days...], the thought that Draco may be too attached to Potter to carry out his duty plagues me.
I have not yet told him what his task is to be.
I hope he does not pick this time to act up - the Dark Lord is already suspicious, and will use extreme measures if necessary.
I sincerely hope for your sake, Draco, that your Slytherin traits will come out dominant in the end. It will save you much pain.
