(no subject)
Well, I've been neglecting my eljay. Good thing it's not one of those tamagotchi deals where you have to feed it every so often, because if it were I'd have the digital SPCA up my ass. I'm a horrible e-parent.
But anyway. Work's been pretty... indescribable. So many shifts. My last paycheque was nearly double the norm, so that's nice. I was also $130 short on my last supe shift, which was not so nice. I found $100 of it hiding in the wrong safe, but in the end I was still out 30. Steve was cool about it though, I think he was more irked with Alli than me.
That also reminds me, Alli (Chua, not the supe at Tim's) gets home in a few days. One day after I head to NF, to be exact. In the end, we'll have about two weeks to hang out before we both head to Dal. We're both in engineering too, so that'll be some cool shit. She's commuting from home, but she's only 10 minutes away by bus (10 on the 10 LOL).
So yesum, finally heading back to my real home for a bit. No more of this faux-home Nova Scotia shiat, I'm going to Newfoundland. It's going to be wicked, and I'll probably meet up with Blackmore at the Gander Day festival. NF FTW.
Rob, Laura, Richard and I went meandering about downtown yesterday. Stopped into HSC yesterday and finally got myself some new clothes, and then we walked around Spring Garden. Nearly every shop down there has the university hangout feel, and I felt so comfortable and at home... it sounds odd, I know, but I'm going absolutely nuts waiting for next year to start. I'm unbelievably pumped for Dal.
Soooo, that's everything on my mind. Probably won't post for another month. I'm pretty consistent with this whole lack-of-updating deal.
