“Why so sudden?” Hikaru asks as he gathers his clothes and pile them on the bed. “It’s not like this trip will change anything.”
Yabu leans against his seat. “Apparently the doctors said that a little bit of vacation might do some good for Kei. So Johnny-san booked the trip for all of us.”
Hikaru sits next to his mounting clothing. “Look, I think this trip will somewhat help Kei if we are not there.”
“You know I can’t let him off from my sight. He’s fragile, he might attempt another suicide anytime. We need to keep an eye on him.”
“That’s the point Kota. Are you forgetting the fact that you are the source of him delusions? I know you care about him as a friend, but you are being too close.”
“It’s just natural! I’m always like this with everyone.”
“That’s what you really need to change. You need to learn how to set a borderline so he will understand that you are just a friend.”
“Kei knows.”
“If he did then this whole chaos won’t happen.”
Yabu get on his feet. “Look, I’m already tired dealing with Yuya’s temper. Just please do not add more to my headache okay?”
Hikaru becomes quiet for a while, staring directly into his boyfriend’s eyes. “All right then. I’m tired as well,” he stands up and leaves the room, ignoring Yabu who is desperately trying to catch him.
Hikaru’s legs walks down the stairs real fast, with his mind juggling a lot of things. Yabu has been so defiant lately- perhaps due to the stresses put by jimusho upon him. Inoo is sick, JUMP’s concert tour has to be cancelled, Ryutaro somehow got involve in the mess, Takaki is hating him with all his heart, and now the stubborn Daiki tries to force Inoo to quit. Hikaru is aware of that, and he sympathizes Yabu for it.
But lately that man is somewhat cold towards him. All Yabu cares about is Inoo, regardless of what Hikaru. And he has to say, discussing about Inoo on their bed is not really what Hikaru wants.
Hikaru knows being jealous for this matter is just a waste of time and energy, but he is also a human. Perhaps he is reaching the limit to his patience, and rather than giving Yabu all the bad words he figured it would be best for him to calm himself alone.
Or so he might think.
“Ittai!!!” Takaki yells the moment his head collides with Hikaru’s in the dim light at the living room. “Oi!! Can’t you be more careful?”
“Sorry,” Hikaru rubs his forehead that might have turned red from the incident. “I was in a hurry.”
“There’s this thing called lamp. Switch it on before you go running in the house,” the irritable Takaki continues to nag. “Are you listening?”
Hikaru just silently nods. His body is trembling.
“Hika? What’s wrong?” Takaki approaches the boy. “Don’t scare me like that. Say something.”
“I’m fine,” Hikaru replies. “Maybe…”
“Hey,” Takaki turns the boy around. To his shock Hikaru is sobbing, with his shoulders going up and down.
Instinctively Takaki wipes Hikaru’s tears with his thumbs. “What happened to JUMP’s most energetic member?”
Hikaru shook his head. “I guess I’m just tired.”
“I know I was rude to you and Kota, but I hate seeing you like this. Ore de ii nara kiku kedo, ‘over’ (if I’m good enough I’ll listen, ‘over’),” Takaki makes the phone gesture with his right hand and put it near his ears, mimicking their PV dance.
Hikaru chuckles. “Houkago hanashi kitte yo, ‘over’ (After school I’ll tell you so listen, ‘over’).”
“Baka!! We are not in school anymore!”
The two friends laugh.
“Seriously Yuya, I was just tired. Nothing more,” Hikaru dries his face using his sleeves. “I’m fine.”
Takaki raises his eyebrows and nods around. “Well, if you say so. It’s getting late. I’m going to bed,” Takaki slowly walks towards his room. “If you need anything just call me.”
“Thanks,” Hikaru smiles. “Good night Bakaki,”
“Oii!!”
Hikaru laughs as he watches the other boy climbing the stairs to the second floor. It has been so long since he last talked this leisurely to Takaki. He sort of misses the fun of teasing Takaki like this.
To be more precise Hikaru actually misses the fun JUMP the group used to be.
Will everything really be all right?
Hikaru lands on the couch, closes his eyes as he tries to sail into his dreamland, not realizing that Yabu witnessed all that happened between him and Takaki.
And who knows what is playing in Yabu’s mind at this time.

“Why am I the one left behind?” Yuto keeps tapping his feet on the floor like a child. Yamada and Chinen just look at the tall boy with smiles.
“It’s clear isn’t? This is your punishment,” Chinen put the pancake into his mouth. “For telling lies.”
“I wasn’t lying!”
“Yeah… eavesdropping the high committees discussion and then suddenly calling everyone saying that we are going to be disbanded stirring some panic in Johnny-san office. You are right, you did nothing wrong there.”
“It’s reflex. When people say that JUMP need to ‘disappear’, naturally one would assume that Johnny-san wanted to disband us!”
Yamada sips on his milk. “Well, thank God it was just a misunderstanding.”
Yuto brings his knees close to his chest and hug it tight. “But I want to go to Australia too…” the boy pouts. “This is not fair! It should have been my birthday present… huuuuu…”
“Don’t worry, we’re here,” Chinen pats Yuto’s back.
“You and Yama-chan have your drama to shoot. So that’s a different story.”
“And you need to host Shokura. Right?”
Yuto’s mouth becomes more pointy than before. “That's supposed to be Dai-chan's job! Huuu… I want to go to Australia!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to see koala!!!!”
Chinen scratches his head. “Yama-chan, please shut his mouth with your 'koala punch'.”
Yamada laughs. “Maybe later Chii,” he put his glass in the sink. “I actually enjoy seeing him in despair.”
“Urgh.. you ‘S’ type chibi!" Chinen teases. "No wonder Dai-chan leave you.”
Yamada stops moving for a moment. Hearing Daiki’s name makes his heart feels burden.
Chinen bites his lips. “Gomen!” he quickly bows. “It sort of slipped… you know… jokes…”
“Don’t worry about it,” Yamada tries to hide his uneasiness. “I’m fine.”
“But we know Yama-chan.”
“Em?”
“You’ve been crying at night.”
“Baka!” Yamada awkwardly pushes himself to sound cheerful. “That…you know… that was script reading! I was just practicing my lines. That’s all.”
“Eih… never know ‘Kindaichi’ would cry out Dai-chan’s name,” Yuto stands near the fridge. “It’s hard to sleep alone when you are used to be together right?”
Yamada didn’t answer. Indeed, he has been weeping a lot lately. And Yuto is right, he misses Daiki too much.
But unfortunately Daiki seems not to mind his absence.
Reflecting back, Daiki has the right to be jealous. Yamada has been spending a lot of time with Keito lately, because the boy is also facing a crisis at the moment. Keito needs support and therefore Yamada tried his best to give it. They were even thinking about consulting the group, but at that time Inoo suddenly disappear. Since Inoo has become the group’s priority at the moment, Keito held his problem to himself.
Not been able to tell Daiki about it -for he promised Keito not to tell anyone until Inoo is healthy again- Yamada was torn. Daiki opted to put an end to their relationship without even asking for explanation. That what hurts Yamada the most.
“I’m late. I’ll see you guys at night,” Yamada takes his belongings and rushes towards the door, with ‘sorrow’ clearly painted on his face.
“I told you that issue is sensitive,” Yuto crosses his hands.
Chinen gets into his 'thinking posture'. “We need to help them Yuti. We must.”

The flight departed from Narita airport about two hours ago. Being in Mr. Johnny’s private jet is supposed to be a luxurious and fun experience, but not to the six JUMP members.
The atmosphere is just too awkward.
Hikaru is sitting with Yabu; Takaki with Inoo; and Daiki sits next to Keito.
None of them has been uttering a single word since their departure from home.
“Hika, are you all right?” Takaki notices that Hikaru is somewhat shivering on his way back from the lavatory.
“Just a little cold,” Hikaru answers with a smile.
Yabu rolls his eyes towards Takaki. “He’s my boyfriend. I’ll take care of him,” he grabs his blanket and covers Hikaru with it.
“What’s with that attitude?” Takaki becomes irritable.
“You are the one with problem, talking sweet and seducing my Hika!”
“Your Hika? Excuse me, he is my friend. I was comforting him, not seducing. Please be clear with that.”
Daiki smirks. “You guys like a bunch of kids fighting for your toys.”
“Don’t add fuel to fire, chibi!” Takaki glares at Daiki.
“Owh, I’m surprised that bakaki actually knows some proverbs. Bravo Baka-ki.”
“Omae…!!!” Takaki moves to Daiki’s seat and grabs his collar.
Keito throws a long breath. “Guys, there’s about 8 hours more to our destination. Either you want to sit on this plane peacefully or growling to each other, that’s your choice. But I assure that the quiet environment is better for everyone,” he steps out from his seat. “If you may excuse me, I need to use the washroom.”
Takaki releases Daiki from his grip. Keito passes in between and walks straight to the lavatory.
“What is wrong with us?” Inoo finally speaks. There are pearls of tears in his eyes. “We were good friends, we were like brothers. But now we get into fights with the most trivial matter. What’s wrong with us?”
Daiki corrected his shirt and sit back on his seat. “I guess time change it all.”
“Is it my fault?”
“Of course not,” Takaki rushes back to Inoo’s side. “Shhhh… please, don’t feel that way. Don’t stress yourself Kei…”
“It’s nobody’s fault,” Hikaru pulls his blanket up to cover his chest. “We are just tired, that's all,” he steals a look at Yabu.
Yabu knows Hikaru was being sarcastic. “Yes, we are VERY tired.”
