Marzipan Recipe~
Well for a long time I´ve been wondering how they get or where they all get the marzipan with which the make those nice dolls to top cupcakes and such and wonderd if it had to be bought or so. I was planning to chech that out today but stupid shitty time made it all gray and rainny and there was no way I got out of home in the bike for like hours. So I came up with looking for it in the inet (marvelous thing I must say!), maybe there was some recipe or so. And tada! There is! I´ll look if I have the ingredients (which arent really difficult to get) and then get myself started on it! ;D
Here´s the recipe:
Marzipan uncooked
1/4 pound ground blanched almonds
1/4 pound powdered sugar
1 egg white
1/4 tsp. salt
Marzipan cooked
3 cups sugar
1 cup water
4 cups ground blanched almonds
I believe that 1/4 pound is about 100 grams, if anyone knows for sure how much it is please do tell. .o.
