Trips Out - the Beginning
A simultaneous Facebook/journal post but I'm proud so I want to share.
For my birthday I was given a book '1000 things to do in Britain'. It's full of different places to see and activities to do across the country. I am planning to either do (or at least watch) all of them. So the first one 17th July 2011 Birdman of Bognor. Anyone who wants to come along is welcome to join me.
Also, Saturday just gone I went to a wedding reception, without a plus one and last night I went to an event that I had been invited to at the House of Commons. I networked my arse off and the Nursery now has it's own MP who is on the Cabinet and wants to help us. I will write more about all that but today I have had the after-effects of massive adrenalin and fear. Standing up has been an optional extra for the majority of the day (luckily I got to sit at my desk all day at work so that nobody noticed).
Still, I feel so good about all this, things are really looking up.
