Haven't blogged in the longest time but the typing of my username and password into the login box still seems all so familiar. Well its 2012 now and let me make a brief summary of what has been going on in my life!! I doubt people read this but since im in a pensive mood i shall.
1. School

I think this nicely sums it up... haha lets start with
1. School
School this sem has been bad bad bad. Grades not as good as the previous 2 semesters but I guess at this stage in life i shall just be content with what I have. Also I shall cross my fingers that it lands me a job somewhere nice! Advanced accounting mods are the DEATH of me. Didn't get that A+ I oh-so expected to but well I guess the A was courteous enough.
2. Internship
Doing my Mergers and Acquisitions Transactions Services internship @ Deloitte Touche Tomatsu this semester. Well, we are presently at the halfway mark and so far, M&A activity has been bad. But I guess today took quite a turn as I was FINALLY dealing with some numbers and I had also fulfilled the OCD part of myself in doing the formatting of worksheets and stuff. The work is pretty alright I guess but I hope to get some serious action soon! ^^ Apparently it will be the coming week so fingers crossed! :) Nevertheless I still miss PwC everyday and the fun in doing and perfecting tax computations. Also there is much much more welfare in my previous firm - guess more has to be done in evaluating where I want to go in the future.
3.Exchange
I simply cannot emphasize how much I am needing this exchange. A break from SMU, Singapore and just time to travel and unwind for a few months :) I have already listed down some countries that I have in mind for exchange and I really hope I do get the opportunity to visit them. I want to go exotic places like Croatia, Austria, Morocco. And of course the famous places like Spain, Italy, Greece etc. Will probably be also heading up to Norway to see Northern Lights!
Yup, that's about the summary of my life right now. Mostly internship and exchange since school's out. Wonder when I will blog again next! hehe
