so I skipped math to go to some library, uh the big one, odegaard or whatever it is.
I wonder if people are shaking their heads at me for making a livejournal entry on the library computers.

basically I picked up a book called something like "the philosophy of THE WORLD."
the editor, who did the preface, was like "I hope this book makes the subject interesting and creates a compass with
which we can get our bearings in a field that stretches out in all directions indefinitely, allowing us to make sense of it
all."
whatever.
I realized, by looking at all the shelves, the world is a lot more finite than previously expected.
