Comic Relief
The first fanfiction I ever read was based around comics (Oh Wolverine, the things you do!) but I haven't really devoted much time to it ever since then. Until recently when I descovered some truely awesone DC fic.
There is
jamjarfor instance, who does an awesome Bart and always makes me have to cover up my big geeky!smiles when I'm reading her stuff at work. I think my favorite of hers that I have read so far is The Buddy System which is a hilarious and incredibly dirty Kon/Bart/Roy. She's also written a brilliant Ultimate!Marvel MJ/Pete/Logan PWP Cleanliness which is dirty in every way except the literal.
mildredmiltonhas introduced me to my new favorite character of all time, Slade Wilson, who seems to be the Snape of the DCU in that he can be paired with anyone and is an evil, kinky bastard. At least, when written properly. She also has a wonderful series of stories base around the Batfamily set in the AU 'happyverse' in which all the Robins past and present are around and everyone is both agnst free (comparitively) and shagging each other silly. They start with Voyeurs and it does my old heart good to finally see Steph treated as well as she deserves. Mysogynistic DC cunts... grumble grumble...
petronelle wrote the mind-bogling identity!fic series How to Marry a Millionaire with
jamjarwhich manages to convey the bizarre rules of bat-identity in the DCU and how very very messed up Bruce Wayne is. Also there is pr0n. And sucker that I am for fics that showcase how awesome Steph is I am so in love with the Cass/Steph If You're on Fire that I plan to have it hypnoticly implanted in my head as canon.
And of course there's many who I haven't had time to read through the back catalogue of yet such as
cereta and
glossing.
seriousficis among their number, but I read a Clark/Bruce fic of hers this morning, Prep Time = Foreplay, which killed me ded. In a good way.

glossing's BtVS/Teen Titans crossover Got Chaos and it is made of awesome and full of Bart. Go. Read.
