Maybe I'm once again betraying my age, but isn't today a holiday?
If so, why are all the stores open? I just called the supermarket. Not only are they open, they're open their regular hours.
Doesn't that strike anyone else as a bit strange? I swear, when I was a kid, nothing was open on the 4th of July. Or any other holiday. Now I think the only days you can't go to the mall are Thanksgiving and Christmas...
