The universe is conspiring to keep me humble. One must remind oneself that this is a good thing.
Liaisons was so successful I somehow expected things to keep going that well.
Since then -
AFD rejected me as a director.
Turtle Lane rejected me as an actress (Well, not technically. But I have no interest in the General in Guys and Dolls, especially not for a six week run when I could make more money and probably have a better time house managing. So, not even a callback.)
Concord is full up and can't even interview me as a potential director for next season.
And I think there was some other rejection somewhere, but I've already blocked it out.
Which raises the question - what rejection should I seek out next?
