I've asked everyone else, so now it's your turn.
I just went past 2 years on my cell plan. Up here in the wilderness that is Veneta, the only company that has coverage is Sprint. I'm currently on Credo Mobile (they rent Sprint lines) because I like their politics, and they are comparatively inexpensive.
I have a choice of Google Nexus S, Samsung Galaxy S, LG Marquee or HTC Detail Androids from $49 to $99 with a two year contract on Credo, or I can jump to Sprint and get an iPhone ($199 to $399). I know I DO NOT WANT Windoze.
I like being with a company that supports net neutrality as well as the causes I support. But Credo doesn't offer wi-fi hotspot capability with any of its phones yet. They may in the near future, but not right now.
I've been waiting for years for Apple to offer the iPhone on something other than the Death Star or Verizon, so this is my big opportunity to get one. I was told to wait until January or February to make sure they get the battery issue fixed.
Reading the reviews hasn't gotten me very far. Nowadays, its too much like a religious debate. Anyone have any comments of substance?
