Well, it's an improvement over last Tuesday/Wednesday, when my legs cramped up for no apparent reason despite being relatively rested. I say 'relatively' because Wednesday I don't have to switch buildings at work, but today tells me that seriously, I should not be walking at all. I rested all day yesterday, minus crossing the street to get my hair done and grocery shopping during which I put nearly all my weight on the shopping cart. But today I haven't left the apartment at all, just crossed the room a couple times, did dishes, made French toast. And each time I get up off the chair I get a reminder that I shouldn't. My right foot forgives, especially if I put the weight back on the heel and avoid the ball of the foot. My left foot not only hurts for minutes afterwards but radiates that pain up its leg. I have clearly and truly fucked up my feet this time.
Now to make a little rice and watch Supernatural before I go to bed. Not enough ambition to fix the brightness on the TV, or probably not enough, so it will just have to be dark.
This is the price I pay for having legs like a racehorse--injuries like a racehorse.
