Random thoughts on Smallville: be warned

I have all these thoughts and rambles in my head about Smallville, been brewing for a while but mostly about these past two seasons. As I've gone crazy for Chlollie and come out of hiding, I've rediscovered message boards and forums. And once I delurked and started posting again, it's been great... :-) but I've also seen the dark side of fandom.

I consider most of the JLA/JSA just guest stars, but yeah.. it'd be nice to see most of them again if they can add something to the story. Like AJ and not like SALVATION.

Can't stand Mia, just a waste of screen time IMO. Does nothing to help Oliver's story at this point, doesn't add to Clark's or the JLA.. don't see a point to her. Plus I think she's a weak character, poor actress and just.. boring. YMMV.

I'll go into Clark another time, but that's one of my biggest disappointments with the show over the years. I've tried to psyche myself, year after year, LOOK for the good.. but it's outweighed by the bad, the boring, the plodding and the ridiculous.

I almost don't care about him.. and I mean it's Superman! Just bad writing! I quickly liked other parts of the show, other characters so much better.

If Oliver had not been introduced in S6, I probably would have jumped ship, even not knowing what would happen to Chloe. But since I had both of them, plus the Luthors I kept tuning in just to see what happens... to THEM. Again one of the sadly frustrating things about the show. YMMV.
