Hmm, how to love Chlollie today; quick ramble on Crossfire
Do I vid? Do I just write back and forth with a few of my Chlollie BFFs? Catch up on my favorite message boards. I want to do it all, but of course, never enough time. Sigh.
BTW Crossfire (dreck) was on the other night, and except for Lois skipping town after the KISS, I think it could and SHOULD have been reworked to be before Roulette. Something about helping Mia seems like penance for Oliver, trying to atone.. blah blah. But the jumping in front of bullets, cage fighting clubs, etc. just seemed very... Death Wish to me, which was sort of dealt with in Roulette.
Plus the quickness of the Towers being built after this, the Lois rehash, .. still think the episode order could have been reworked. (Does not explain Disciple, but I will pretend it did. not. happen). Another bone to pick... the BEER and LOIS birthday "tradition" in Roulette. I call FAIL. I call BULLSHIT, Smallville.
Lois and Oliver dated for a few months, for about 7 episodes in S6. In S7, there was only 1 Oliver episode, no b-day. Ditto S8. So SV needs to rethink how it defines "tradition" which is to say, quit retconning and trying to make Lois and Oliver seem like more than what it really was. JMHO, YMMV.
