Got this a while back from iamza. They gave me the letter F to work with. So I come up with 10 things I enjoy that start with F. If you want your own letter, leave a comment and I'll pseudo-randomly give one out...
1) Fandom: I like being part of a large community. People who share, not just an interest, but a love for something. RPGs, comics, tv shows, books. Narrow it down to system or company or character. I may sometimes want to smack individuals in my fandoms upside the head. Or wish they'd move on to something else. But I'm still a fan...
2) Fast Food: Its bad for me. And takes money I should save for something else. So I try to limit myself to once or twice a week. But no matter what, convenience + fatty/greasy/fried food = nom nom nom nom
3) Fin Fang Foom: He's an ancient dragon. One of several. Originally an Iron Man foe. And at least once a Thor foe (though that was actually the Midgard Serpent in disguise). And in one universe he tried to stuff a blonde mutant bimbo down his giant purple pants. Nowadays I think he's only like six feet tall and wanders the streets of New York in a fedora and trench coat. Beating up on Hydra soldiers who would dare destroy Christmas...
4) Frost: Or evidence of dropping tempertures and rising condensation. Meaning the possibility of snow. Because I loathe Phoenix summers and wish I lived where it winter is marked by frozen water layering the ground under a white blanket of loveliness. Also Jack Frost, who is one of the high-end mutant villains for my home-brew MSH universe. And a character from Noble Causes, who is pretty awesome also...
5) Flogging Molly: Flogging Molly rocks my socks off. Heres to hoping they tour again next year and finish up in Phoenix for St. Patrick's Day again...
6) Firefly: Stupid FOX network. Stupid Nielsen viewers who were stupid. Stupid movie-goers who were extra stupid. I am aware that there are haters out there who do not love all things Firefly. Who like to make disparaging comments about the "crazier than normal" fans. Screw 'em all. They can't take the sky from me...
7) Fighter: Fighter McWarrior is one of the main characters from 8-Bit Theater greatest of sprite comics. Constantly blurring the line behind idiot and genius. Plus he invented sword-chucks. Who needs lame-ass gunblades when they could have sword-chucks...
8): Carla Speed McNeil's strange science fiction comic. Possibly post-apocalyptic. Clever and whip smart and funny and sexy and totally cool. And I really need to figure out a budget that lets me pick up the 4 tpbs I'm missing...
9) Fuck: The world's most fucking perfect fucking word to express how fucked up some things are at times. Though it also works as a positive. Fuck yeah it does!
10) Fantasy: The Science Fiction sub-genre. Or the act of dreaming of something other and hopefully better. S'all good...
