Extra reasons to be annoyed
What really upsets me about this stupid direct deposit shit is that it robbed me of several hours of time. My brother and his wife have been in town for the holidays, though they leave sometime tomorrow morning. And between my working nights and other family members wanting to spend time doing stuff with them, I get less time with him than I'd have liked. My bro dropped out of college his freshman year to move up to Seattle. Then he joined the Marines. After that he stayed in Texas after he got out and got married. So I don't see him more than once or twice a year. And I miss him...
Tonight he and Mary are having dinner with my uncle's family and then I'm guessing they'll go and listen to Mike play. Those hours spent picking up my check, then getting it cashed and having to deal with Friday afternoon traffic was time I wanted to spend with him BEFORE the rest of the family got to. And I missed it...
