John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is a retired action bad-ass. Like Liam Neeson plays in 90% of his current movies. But this retired action bad-ass used to work for the Russian mob. But he got out because of Love. Love for his wife, the attorney daughter from Blue Bloods who just died of the movie cancers. But before that she sent her retired action bad-ass puppy. So that he'd continue to have something to Love and wouldn't return to the Evil. Then some spoiled kids rob him, steal his cool car and kill his puppy. The spoiled kids in this case belonging to the old Russian gangsters John used to work for. So John has to action bad-ass all the gangsters in New York...
Honestly its kind of fun in a video-game violence, angry man with a gun kind of way. Plus lots of fun supporting dudes. John Leguizamo, Willem Defoe and Adrianne Palicki with black hair who I didn't recognize until checking the cast page later. I never recognize Palicki when she isn't blonde. I mean I didn't spot her on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. until the internets pointed it out...
