This is the first time where the 3-d filming for a live-action movie didn't feel obtrusive to me. And the soundtrack only grated on me once, an impressive feat given that I can't stand Daft Punk normally...
The story itself was quite good. Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) has been missing for twenty years. And then his now adult son Son gets a message that leads him into The Grid. A sub-universe of living computer programs. The world is an excellently done update of the original movie, with remastered versions of the disc battle, light cycles and program uniforms standing out...
