Some ranting, and a nice day
Why are the directions on google maps so shit? I needed to get from Newcastle airport to Kurri Kurri this morning, and at the first major junction, it sent me in precisely the wrong direction. Now, occasionally, when under pressure, I have been known to confuse left and right, but I am not offering my services on the interwebs for the use of others.
Now back at the airport waiting for my return flight, I am experiencing the true hell that is Australian wireless internet. It is painfully slow, and my own mobile connection won't work, so I am stuck with a crap, but admittedly free, internode connection.
Other than that, I've had a good day. The site visit was short but useful, so to compensate for the fact that I spent the morning at a sewage treatment works, I've been wine tasting in the Hunter Valley and my bag is now heavier than it was this morning to the tune of four bottles.
