Hey there! Sorry for being too late to read other post, but I kinda got depressed a day or two watching the episode.

Wow, what an episode of exposition, but really the most amazing and fabulous exposition ever. I actually loved the way exposition was handled too: the technique with Ellen and Cavil (and Boomer) was full of tension; even MT pulled off the difficult aphasia. I guess I felt down with all the negativity out there. Look that was an info-dump, but there's only 6 episodes left, and I think about a fourth of the pending questions were answered.

Cavil himself is all kinds of creepy, and pretty much to blame for all of the horrible things that have happened on the show, ever. Both Kate Vernon and Dean Stockwell were amazing. I felt a pity for Grace all she could do was look terrified of both veterans (good thing Boomer was written that way). The only thing that's slightly disappointing is that JohnCavil is the single villan most responsible for the genocide, rather than a collective fault or a series of faults. (Did he help program the other 7 skinjobs so they would be manipulated to his choices?) Also, how did he download from the Hub. I can buy Boomer escaping in time, but JohnCavil need to download AND escape once D'anna killed him. Or do all JohnCavils have one experience and one personality?

Sam and Kara interaction made me happy. Not so much Ishay sabotaging his medical care. (YES, that's my theory - no way am I gonna heap more guilt on Kara!) But who knows what's with relationships in BSG. A/R is doomed by cancer. Tigh is gonna have a surprise burst his little baby-fest. Even poor Baltar's guilt is getting in the way with nookie. Kara and XXX seems par for course.

IF Daniel's survived to be Kara's father that makes Sam like her grandfather, Leoben like her Uncle and her Twin-thing with Lee the least incestuous relationship she's had! Hah, that made my head spin! After thinking about it, artistic Daniel as Kara's dad is probably a red herring like you say. (Kara's no Danielle, too.) I'm starting to think that Daniel is Baltar, since he's the only human who sees head/chip!characters, like Tory, Tyrol as Sam related.

I am totally psychic. The whole 'catatonic Sam' reference in Alone? Boom! Here it shows up in the show! You certainly are! And don't forget the Baseship in the Fleet and the Council of Captains!!!!!!
