We agree on most Things that were awesome:
Romo Lampkin returns Yeah, I changed my mind in this episode -- I never warmed to him as a character either in Crossroads or in Sine Qua Non.

Speaking of Kara with Sam, I loved that she chose to be the one who stayed with him. And I love, love, love that Lee was about to jepordize everything to help her and she had to yell at him to save his dad! I know I know. I actually was astounded that Kara chose to stay with Sam while Bill Adama and Galactica was in danger. I've always had a personal fanon that Kara would dump either Sam or Lee IFF Bill Adama specifically told her too. Or if she could only save either Galactica, Sam, Lee or Bill ... it would be the daddy figure. I think I lean towards K/S more than K/L, but really all I want is for Kara is to get more hugs from anybody. Somebody hug her already.

Tyrol, who climed around the ship for hours and finally ripped the heart of it out to save them. Very cool! *Nods* I know. I feel that Gaeta's fate will probably get more attention. But Tyrol- he sweated alone in the ducts, he bled alone on the engines, and he flipped Kelly! Unsung hero!

That the Quorum got a frakking spine. Finally. Yeah, I always thought they were soo easily led (by Roslin, by Lee, by Zarek). Its nice that they can think for themselves (albeit still in committee).

The redemption of Kelly. I missed him! I loved number three. I couldn't understand how he was the bomber.

I admit I'm a little thrown by the fact that all of this happened so fast. ... On the one hand I like it, because I want to get into the meat of the story (Ellen, Opera House, etc), and I can't really complain that they didn't wrap it up in a satisfying way. I felt there were lots of sequences deleted/missing... I'd be interested to see what the Podcast Commentary will say. And yes, what is Kara now? And how did the Tylons get to the Colonies??? Can we get back to those questions now??? But then again, Galactica has more immediate and structural problems.

I guess It's just sort of weird how easily led so many people on the ship are. Adama gets himself free and boom! he has an army to retake CIC. ... I was sort of disturbed by how the Marienes seemed willing to follow orders from just about anyone. Well, I believe the XO heads the Marines in the Colonial Fleet. And unfortunately the sentiment is strongly against Tigh. So I can see how easily it can be turned by the next in line (ie. Gaeta or the Squad Leaders?)

Like Gaeta tells Narcho to pick men he trusts and by the end I'm like "boy Narcho, I think you did a bad job of picking!" Well to be fair, even Narcho was conflicted about shooting Adama. Now if it was Tigh ... But I'm more worried about the resentment that Gaeta stoked and the mutiny let out. How will those affected recently and those carrying those resentments for years now reconcile and work as a team?

I wonder how your Pres. Zarek works in your AU and if Gaeta's still around?
