She`s Magic
Today is Butterscotch`s birthday! Yep, today he lovable little demon is 1 year old. Her little birhday celebration got pushed to tomorrow night though since I got called in to work, but something very peculiar happened tonight when I got home. I gave her a chunk of apple from my dinner, about he size of a gold ball. Grabbed her little water dish, filled it up, brought it back and the applie is gone. She`s not even chewing and I can`t find it anywhere in her cage. Houdini bunny!
Anyway, I`ve been doing okay I think. I`ve been seeing Jessica, my counsellor for a few weeks now, but I only have two more weeks left until school lets out and she`s graduating, so when I go back in January I`ll be with someone else. She`s been really helpful, while she doesn`t tell me what to do or give me advice, she helps me to try and see things differently.
I worked Black Friday from 5:30am until 12:00. I had a ton of fun, I really do enjoy helping people out, like trying to find a game for their kid they`d love or (as in my las job) just taking care of a concern someone has. I worked today as well, mainly after store hours doing marketing, and had a lot of fun. The guys are great, and that`s one thing I did miss a lot from the last time I worked there. was the fun we`d have. I was telling them how one of the other employees asked me out on Black Friday and how I rejected him because I thought he said something else (I would have anyway, acually, but maybe not the same way.) and now they`re giving me a hard time about it by mentioning going out to coffee lol.
(Ben, the guy who asked me out, was home schooled and sorta lacks on people skills. He asked me if I wanted to go grab coffee sometime on break and we could get to know each other. I thought he said "Take a break and go get some coffee." to which I immediately responded, without thinking for a second, with "I don`t like coffee." Wuups.. atleast it`s not as bad as the [married] swinger we have hired giving another guy back massages.)
Also my friend Ryan came in town and we saw American Gangster last weekend. I really enjoyed that movie! Speaking of movies I saw Enchanted on Wednesday and liked it a lot. I was laughing a lot during the movie, hehe, and the best part is I was the only one in the theatre.
This week looks to be busy as well, tomorrow I have my counselling appointment, have to fax in paperwork for a student loan, and call my hairdresser on fixing something I don`t like about my haircut. Tuesday I have to return the game I checked out from work, Unlimited Saga. (Which I didn`t like at all at first, but I warmed up to it, and though I find it a bit frustrating at times, I like it now.) Thursday at 9am I have to take my university placement exams since my ACT scores are invalid now. Between that my friend Stephanie wants to see me before she leaves on Friday and my parents are gone on a cruise until the 1st. Next week will be a bit calmer though, I think. I just have oreintation at the university and The Golden Compass premiers Friday.
Anyway, time for me to get ready for bed. It`s been awhile since a real update!
