I wrote something for Asuka. Because I've been enjoying her fics and art for years, and she wanted someone to do something based on her works that she wanted to read but not write, and it probably isn't that great, but here it is.

Naruto's harem, or the baby Uchihas? ^_^
I love all the little details that hint at a much deeper and complicated universe. I think i want to read the way they got together, all of them, and the villagers initial reaction and tsunade and all. they all sound so entangled.
That was sort of the general idea -- for some reason, I seem to find it easier to write settled relationships than get-togethers. (Granted, in most of my fandoms, the world and his wife seem to be willing to write the get-togethers, so I only have to concentrate on showing that they do in fact work together...)
That and it's beach!fic. For some reason, every beach!story I write keeps trying to dissolve into pwp-ness: lots of details and images, but who needs plot when you can just lie out in the sand and maybe take a dip in the water now and then?
(Although konoha points out that beach episodes in a TV series are usually character development episodes and short on plot, anyway.)
As I said below, I took an idea I'd been kicking around for a while but not really wanted to write (I currently have unfinished fic in, lessee, a dozen fandoms plus a few that are crossed over with at least one of the dozen), dropped Saki-chan into it, and let the changes roll forward and back. So some of the "how they got here from there" I know, some I know in a general sense but not in specifics (Hinata, for example, will need a good reexamination of canon before I figure out *exactly* how that worked), and some I'm still waiting for them to tell me.

Well, because Naruto was. ^_^ Seriously, I actually roughed out "how Naruto became an Uchiha" and "how Iruka became an uncle" here.

Well, I can't picture Naruto NOT macho/protective/grinning/cute -- well, he might lose the last two when it's time to get dangerous, but there are women and men and guys in this world. Sakura is a woman, Sasuke is a man (except when she's a girl), and Naruto is a GUY.
...now I have a mental image of Saki-chan singing "I Love Being a Girl" from Flower Drum Song. Damn you, Asuka! ^_^

Well, she's mellowed a little (particularly in a "safe" or semi-safe setting). And the swimsuit is a size too small in order to get the proper encarapaced feeling of constriction, but it's not as if that's readily obvious through translucent muslin. And six-inch platforms with spaghetti straps on loose sand are a sprained ankle waiting to happen, but that's why I'm not elite jounin (I have trouble with two-inch heels).

Is saki the mom of either of the children? since naruto's going to be a mom too.
Er... that depends on how you define "mom." I think you were the one that speculated that mpreg-in-o-iroke-no-jutsu would drain an insane amount of chakra, which is why the guy with a built-in-insane-amount-of-chakra-generator is test-driving the option. ^_^ And the pregnancy is still draining enough that Naruto's been knocked back from "is that guy even human?" to "normal healthy athletic pregnant woman" -- as Sakura keeps reminding him.

I really *don't* know where this will go from here -- and actually, I'm not sure how Kiba would work with the others, so I don't know that him joining per se would be the best of ideas -- but, well... Naruto is not the most socially intuitive of people, but I think he's been noticing that Hinata's been tending to do a "cheese stands alone" thing when the kids aren't around, so the back of his mind has been worrying over "Hinata-chan ought to get out more" for a while now while the front of his mind is occupied with kids, Saki-chan, ramen, and wow-my-balance-is-fscked-when-I'm-pregnant.
really, this is sweet and cute and i love the details, but i'd love even more to see a fic explaning how they got together -- if you don't want to, just summarize for me plz? X3 *looks cute* i'm so curious.

Has Sakura's face shape, Sasuke's eyes, and, due to a recent accident involving the triplets, paint, and chewing gum, Sasuke's hair from the beginning of the series. Considers himself the natural leader of the group, and is almost as smart as he thinks he is. Plans to grow up to be the Seventh Hokage or a consulting detective. Calls his parents: Uchiha-sensei! (with politer forms of speech, yet <-- result of really indelible five-year-old impression), Toosan, Okaasan, Ino-mama, Hinata-mama, Saki-mama. (in English: Mr. Uchiha, SIR!, Dad, Mother, Ino-mommy, Hinata-mommy, Saki-mommy.) Name spelt with the character "light/shining."
- Inoko, out of Ino by Sasuke, eight years old. Looks like Ino with black hair and eyes; she and her twin are taller than Kou, much to his disgruntlement. Perfectly sure that she ought to be the natural leader of the group, and to that end squabbles with her brother a lot. Kura's older fraternal twin sister. Plans to grow up to be a legendary sennin, only without the drinking or gambling or perverted-ness. (At which point Kou said "So you're planning to grow up to be E-VUL, then?" and Inoko retorted that Freaky Snake Guy was a pervert in a much more perverted way that Jiraiya-roushi, wasn't that so? Calls her parents: Ki-ga-warui-oniisan, Toosan, Okaasan, Ino-mama, Hinata-mama, Saki-mama. (Eng.: Freaky Relation, Dad, Mother, Ino-mommy, Hinata-mommy, Saki-mommy.) Name spelt with the character "pig" (radical basis).
- Kura, out of Ino by Sasuke, eight years old. Full name is Uchiha Kurapikachuu (aka Why Saki-chan Is Not Allowed To Name Any More Kids, EVER.) Platinum blond hair like his mommy, black eyes, looks rather like Kurapika from Hunter&Hunter (I have trouble visualizing people from scratch). The "Mate Susan" of the group. Didn't talk until he was two and a half (although his neesan talked enough for the both of them) and then started with complete, grammatically correct sentences. Calls his parents: Sasuke-oya, Toosan, Okaasan, Ino-mama, Hinata-mama, Saki-mama. (Eng.: Sasuke-parent, Dad, Mother, Ino-mommy, Hinata-mommy, Saki-mommy.) Full name spelt in hiragana, generally signs himself with the character "dark."
Those three are the only ones who've interacted with Sasuke enough to call him anything, btw; as he got older he pretty much only ever comes out on missions.

- Shou, out of Sakura by Sasuke, five years old. Sakura got sent on a mission right after recovering from Mei's birth (so she got nursed by the other two), came back no longer lactating, and wound up sort of unexpectedly pregnant; as a result, Shou has black hair in a page-boy cut, green eyes, and recessive Sharingan genes. Tsunade taught most of the kids (except the triplets, who were busy) how to play poker one Friday night, and by Sunday Shou was breaking about even with her and cleaning everyone else out. He wants to marry Hikari-neechan when he grows up; the parents are pretty sure he'll grow out of it in a couple of years. He calls them the same things the triplets do; his name is spelt with the character "dazzling," although he insists on pronouncing it "Akira." (One of the Uchiha ancestors was also called Akira, although spelt differently; besides, Teru-chan can manage it without undue violence.) Naruto, Hinata, and the kids call him "Akira"; the other mommies keep to "Shou."
- Teru, out of Sakura by Sasuke, three years old. Short black hair, black eyes, and she still has her baby fat. A very affectionate little girl, always kissing and giving hugs and wanting to be picked up; her greatest adoration is reserved for people she thinks are "sad," with the result that she can often be found following around Neji with big round eyes (or, on one memorable visit, Gaara). Calls Naruto "Papa" (Daddy) and all her mothers "Mama" (Mommy), although if she actually has to differentiate it'll be Mama, Ino-mama, Hina-mama, and Chaki-mama <-- (she's got a lisp. I'm not sure how best to render it in English.) Name spelt with the character "radiant."
- Taka, out of Ino by Sasuke, one year old. Black hair and black eyes in a soft round face that's only just now teething. Currently prevocal (given that Shou took a while to start talking and Kura even longer, they're not to worried about it). Really hates it when nobody's paying attention to him. Name spelt with the character "hawk."
And since there's now a rule that She Who Bore The Kid Gets To Name It, Naruto's planning to call the next one after Iruka's father or mother, whichever applies.

(Firstly, the impression I took from Asuka-sempai's originals and the challenge was that, despite other people interacting with her that way, Saki-chan is not actually a full-blown alter: Sasuke may be mildly dissassociative, but he didn't actually fragment when he began building the "Uchiha Sasuke, super rookie" persona -- and that that persona is, in its own way, as much of one as Saki-chan. Although possibily less, by this point, since Saki-chan's been handling a lot of the interaction on several different levels.)
The thing with "only gets to come out" is that the only one keeping Sasuke from interacting with the Uchiha Commune at home or on vacation is Sasuke; he's been slowly phasing down his need for that particular persona, but he's been in enough of a holding pattern for a while that he really hasn't had any impetus to change. (Hinata and Ino and especially Naruto, while they do care deeply about Sasuke, don't really know what to do with problems of this magnitude, so they've been reacting empirically and waiting for him to come out on his own; Sakura has some training, but she also has her own Sasuke-shaped baggage to deal with, and it gets in the way.) I'm fairly sure he will show up for Naruto's labor, prolonged bloody messes being right up his alley, and I should have mentioned (but didn't) that every now and then Sasuke still feels the need to connect with Naruto via a good fight. (Saki-chan doesn't do fights. Sasuke doesn't do anything but. Except, of course, for assassinations, and those barely count as interpersonal relations [stalking certainly doesn't].)
If asked,
Sakura would say that she hopes that one day Sasuke will face the world without personas (but her mental image of what such a Sasuke would look like is heavily skewed);
Ino would say that the current situation is fine as long as he's happy -- she, whatever -- and if not, something should be done;
Hinata would say that as long as Sasuke-kun-Saki-chan heals whether healing is back to status quo ante is a lesser consideration, look at Gaara;
and Naruto doesn't really see what the big deal is, since Saki-chan's his, and that-bastard-Sasuke is his, and the Sasuke-he-glimpsed-now-and-then is his at least as much as Naruto belongs to that one, so whatever happens or doesn't happen, it's fine, isn't it? (Although he kind of hopes that he still gets to fight and have sex, since he'd miss either or both.)
But, really, I didn't mean to imply that they only liked Sasuke for Saki-chan -- just that they're more used to interacting with Saki-chan now. I wish I knew how to make it more clear without derailing matters.
Er. Did that make any sense?

If Sasuke/Saki thought a useful purpose would be served by being present in the household as Sasuke, he would; but between the fact that Saki's mannerisms translate to family presence rather better than Sasuke's and unsettling memories with the older kids -- kids LIKE having stability, such as knowing that a given parent is always going to be the same person -- he decided not to burden the kids with his presence even before starting to not need to be Sasuke for days on end.
