I'm pretty excited about this weekend. It marks the first time in 12 years that I'll be playing live shows again!
So if you're in the Athens/Atlanta area on Saturday night around 10pm with no plans, come see Blue Screen Love Scene play at the Go Bar in Athens!
Some other cool stuff:
The Z Machine in New Mexico! This thing has produced the highest recorded man-made temperatures ever (6.6 billion °F!!), which is pretty promising in the field of aneutronic fusion. If they can get stable aneutronic (no neutrons produced, thus no radioactive waste) reactions going, then we could have clean fusion power! It's like that movie The Saint, only less Russians and awkward sex.
The Z Machine and CERN might also be producing tiny black holes sometime this year, which some folks theorize could be used for time/interdimensional travel! Calling all nerds!
