In 500 words or less, describe what will happen in Deathly Hallows?
The final book will contain the same sort of characteristics of the sixth book - there will be a certain amount of fanfiction-esk writing, mainly due to a) the need to please the readers, b) the fan fiction writer's ability to prophesise the future, and c) the fantastic ability of said writers.
People will die, but those with counterparts (i.e. Weasleys) will feel the impact more than the unfortunate ever did.
The veil, being unexplained in previous books and ignored in Book 6, will become relevant again. Luna will have some connection to this - and possibly someone else, because other than the oddities Luna has, she doesn't know all the answers. Picture a Tonks-esk appearance. Someone with back story that's easy to fit into the storyline and instantly dis/likeable, depending on their position.
As for majorly minor characters like McGonagall and Remus? It’s hard to depict anything without seeming silly in hindsight, once the book has arrived, but I do think the Lycanthropy will play a part… and Minerva won’t become a leader of anything. She, unfortunately, will always be second to Dumbledore. She’s not a hard leader. Stern, yes. I do however, think that Harry would make a better leader than her, although the Order won’t be lead by Harry. He won’t be directly in contact with them until possibly the end of the book, or if at all, only through very limited communication.
The Order will be at the final showdown, because due to the plot sequence in a novel, the climax doesn't generally happen in a dark alley way, near a phone box. A large open space or something with great connection to both sides, so that one is disadvantaged with habitat, but not knowledge. The order will play a similar role to Book 5 - they'll be there, defending, but the ultimatum is of course Harry. A support system for the Great Harry Potter, but very necessary all the same.
I can 100% guarantee I’ll be unwilling to read the last page, holding within myself a desperate longing for it not to be so thin, or so frail, but to continue forever; a tome of never ending wonder and magic.
