My sister recommended a book she felt certain I would LOVE. Yes, I like reading about vampires. They're sexy. What she neglected to tell me was that I would have to find it in the Juvenile fiction shelf of the bookstore and that it was about a teenage vampire romance so incredibly cheesy and sterile that I wonder about its claims on the 'Best Seller List' status.
My friends, do not read Twilight. The cover and title are all you'll enjoy (two black and white hands holding a red apple). The rest--from the one-voice characters, the contrived plot and her misunderstanding of Washington state in general (she vocally feels that it is inferior to Phoenix, Arizona) will leave you wanting more...but not from this book. So don't read it.
