And then there are people of my mother's generation who believe that sex and romance are two quite different things. Youngsters of her generation had 'romance' but no sex. Youngsters nowadays have sex, but where's the romance?

Well, I think our culture glorifies sex a little too much--I don't like seeing thirteen year old dressed up sexy to sell stuff, for example. But I defy anyone to tell me that ALL they want is romance and *never* any sex. ;) Enough hot, romantic kisses leads to pretty happy sex! LOL

Oh, I know! "Feeding from the sweetness of her mouth" makes me throw up a little every time I read it. Ewww. I mean, unless it's a freakin' vampire fic..in which case... double-Ewwww.

And for a guy: "lithe and powerful animal" conjures up visions of bestiality--let's not go there! I do have a certain sneaking fondness for "smooth ripple of muscle beneath warm bare skin". Happy thoughts! ;)
