Author's note: The road to this story is a long and winding one, but I got it done. And I may end up writing a sequel, because I rushed this a bit. I don't know if I truly got the prompt down, but I did my best. Unbeta'd, so any errors are mine, and obviously, I have no idea what the protocol would be when the CDC is called in. Enjoy!
