Pffft.
The next time someone I love dies, I'm going to use ATWT's Supersonic Grieving MethodTM, where you go through all five stages in the span of twenty-four hours. You know. So I can get on with life.
So...um...what was the point of Noah being there? Seriously, that scene could've happened with anyone. Not saying that it shouldn't have been Noah, necessarily, but. *shrugs*
There was nothing there. Nothing.
My favorite part of the whole show was listening to Uncle Angus. (And watching Lily try to dart around calling Luke and Reid "lovers," haha.)
I want someone to write a fic where Luke goes to NY to meet Angus and he basically annoys the hell out of him for deets about Reid. And they play a game of chess. Where Luke beats Angus using a move that Reid showed him. ♥
I realize the show is ending in a week, but the pacing of this end of this storyline has been utterly ridiculous. For months, we had this deliciously slow, organic build up of Luke and Reid's attraction, and then...
...
*crickets*
We only saw them once a day every two weeks. And the writers kept tripping over their own canon. (Like how Luke gave up his seat on the board twice.) And then it started to pick back up -- this time with foreshadowing that was as subtle as a sledgehammer.
And now this. Reid's death has been dealt with at the speed of sound, so fast that no one's had time to really grieve over any of it.
(Maybe I should have saved that for the rant!post, huh?)
But.
"The rest [of Reid's ashes] will here at the pond. WITH ME."
Oh Luke.
