Luke came home, Lily’s was unusually quiet. He was obviously the only one home. He climbed the stairs up to his room and fell onto the bed. He closed his eyes, and put his arm over them. He thought to himself “How could this have happened?! How could I have lost the man I love so much?” He removed his arm from his eyes and blinked as he sat up and looked over to a photo of Reid and him on the nightstand. It was a photo that had been taken on one of their dates. They were both smiling, and while holding it and looking at it, Luke felt a smile creep across his face. He got up from the bed, putting it back down on the nightstand, and walked over to his desk where he had another photo of them. Reid was kissing Luke’s cheek, and once again, Luke was smiling.
Luke put that photo down and then felt a strange chill run down his spine. He poked his head around out of his bedroom door, and yelled down the hall “Hello?”
There was no answer.
Luke was a little confused - he knew no one could be home. His mom had told him that everyone was going to be at the Farm for a Snyder Party. Luke made his way down the hall still feeling a little odd.
Luke made his way to the stairs and looked down. “Hello” Luke said again. There was still no reply. "Why do have this odd feeling" he thought to himself.
Luke made his way down the stairs and into the living room and found it was empty. "What's going on?!"
Luke turned to head back to his room when he felt that weird feeling again.
Luke turned around and headed for the front door.
He opened the door, and found a man with his back turned to him. Luke took a deep breath.
For a moment, Luke was at a loss for words. He looked at the man, who still had his back turned to Luke.
“Reid?”
The man turned around, Luke just stood there in shock.
“Remember me?”
Luke couldn’t help but have tears in his eyes. Luke ran over to him and gave him the biggest, deepest, warmest hug ever.
“I will always be in heart, Luke”
