I get Lily, I do, because at heart I really don't think she has as much of a problem with Reid as she thinks she does--she just enjoys meddling--but there's a time when you have to cut your losses and realize when someone isn't receptive to listening to you and you might have to go about making your point in a different way. Threatening Reid and refusing to drop the subject with Luke though? Not that way of doing it.
Such a sad chapter, because Luke is so frustrated. Poor kid. Love it though! Thanks for posting.
She really doesn't. Her issue isn't even with Reid. It's with Luke almost dying (again), and the fact Holden doesn't love her anymore (I should probably work that in there somewhere...can't just assume motivation in an AU), and Noah's in there somewhere too, but of course that comes back to Holden.
Yes, Luke is very frustrated. He really needs to see a therapist, lol. :)
I almost did that. I was *pinches fingers* this close. But I figure that would just upset Noah, and I'm really trying to mend fences there for something down the line.
Originally, I was going somewhere near there...and then I got a really great idea for Chapter 28, so I had to switch gears. I really intended for this to be more dramatic, lol.
We'll just chalk it up to Luke being a drama queen.
That's exactly what I was going for with the Luke/Noah scene.

N'awwww, I want to give Luke a hug, but that's Reid's job :)

Loved the scene with Noah. It really seemed like they had fizzled out long ago, and were just sad and tired with each other.
Thanks for this!
