A Video - The Truth Between Reid and Noah
The following video was mentioned on a soap opera message board dedicated to "As the World Turns" this morning. I realize that no one here needs to be shown the evidence of how Noah treats Luke so poorly and that Reid seems to have ridden in to be Luke's knight in shining armour (my romantic idea!), but the following video is very well made and too good not to share.
Watching this video confirms my feeling that Noah is written as a louse. Jake may be a sweetheart, but his character is an idiot and a moron. On the opposite end of the spectrum is Reid who cares for Luke and wants whatever is best for Luke no matter if it hurts Reid. I have my doubts that the writers always imagined that someone better for Luke would come along, but, in their hands, someone has and this person is making it beyond impossible to understand how Luke could ever go back to Noah. Reid's interest in and care for Luke is heartfelt and striking. His emotions are beyond just about any other romantic lead on TV soap operas today. His feelings for Luke seem to be based on something real and deep. No matter what happens by September 17, I will always remember Reid for his great heart, keen interest and adoration for Luke. :)
