Need Some Serious Advice

Hope I'm doing this cut thing right.....If not, Sorry.  I finished Chapter 1 of a new story a couple of weeks ago, and then forgot about it because it was so difficult to write  and re-read. Well, last night, I re-read it and now Im wondering if I should include it at all in the new story.  I could always just make reference to "the incident through his talking about it, but writing it was like therapy for me, the whole story will be actually, I'd hate to leave it out

I serioulsy have no idea what to do.  Is there anyone willing to read it for me and give there honest opinion? I have to warn you...it deals with an assult so, if that is a trigger for you, I wouldn't advise you offer your opinion.
