NGL. I loved this episode. I knew this was going to be all setup, so I was anticipating angst. I didn't think there was going to be any happy going on today, and yet? I think this is one of my favorite episodes so far.
*clutches heart* Oh! Hurt to the bone!Reid! The fixing the teddy bear scene. ♥♥♥♥ What a metaphor! He can't fix his broken heart. He can't fix his career. BUT GODDAMMIT HE CAN FIX THIS BEAR AND A MAN'S GOTTA DO WHAT A MAN'S GOTTA DO.
ESS. YOU FUCKING AMAZE ME, BRO.
And Luke. Oh angry, indignant Luke. All that crumbles away with a hushed and broken, "What?" when he finds out what Reid did. And the only thing he can do is go and find the man he's IN LOVE WITH. Not just like. Not merely care about.
IN. LOVE. WITH. \o/
And yeah, him only trying to call Reid was a bonehead (focus!) move, but. THIS IS LUKE, YOU GUYS. WHEN HAVE YOU EVER KNOWN LUKE TO JUST GIVE UP ON SOMETHING HE REALLY, REALLY WANTS?
*crickets*
EXACTLY. THIS SHIT AIN'T OVER.
I hate that we have to wait so long for the next episode, but I am completely thrilled at the way today went down.
