Fic rec: The Name I Gave You by Cherimola.

Cherimola's fics by definition require no talking up, but this one...omg, I just have to rave about how beautifully written it is, and how unique the AU is. Not for the faint-hearted - parts of it were utterly heart-breaking - but it's a great read, a really great twist on LuRe, and fits the prompt perfectly.

Oh my God. This is such a sweet fic. Now I wish there would be a multi chaptered fic about this story with much more details. And it's so beautifully written. *sigh*

Still trying to find time for writing again. This prompt made me think of Reid writing Luke a greeting card whrn he DID remember the birthday or holiday.

Dearest Luke,

People may say that loving someone is trusting them with their life. I'm a neurosurgeon. People trust me with their life every day of the week snd there is not an iota of love involved. So what is love? Love is trusting someone with you heart. You trust me with your heart like no one else has ever done. I trust you Luke with my life and my heart and my strawberry ice cream. What more could a man need?
