I've been on a fic binge the last couple days but still haven't come across a particular fic. In the fic the train did happen, Reid survives but is seriously injured. I know that Luke moves Reid and himself out of state to live with Reid's parents during his recuperation. I think its because he was mad at Oakdale for being more concerned for Chris. By the end of the fic I think Reid is well enough to start working again.
