Thanks for posting. I was on The Backlot site yesterday and it said Van's interview would be posted today but I forgot all about it (damn you, work!) but you reminded me. Great interview. I love reading his thoughts on stuff.

I hate it that he uses the word 'partner' instead of boyfriend. But its his choice to make off course. Reminds me of the Luke in Collision though. Reality and fanfic comming together.

Thanks for letting us know about this. That was a good interview. I am glad to hear Van is still in a loving relationship. I would love to see him in another soap or series on tv. I miss him so much. He is the only reason I even watch Eastsiders.

Aww Partner :) That's so adorable ( I would have loved for him to say Tyler's name) but I will take this it's a slowly slowly step for him so I applaud him for doing it when he felt was right.

Plus it's interesting to hear about who else in his family has his unique Van name and how he wasn't the nicest of people growing up :)

Im not really loving Thom on Eastsiders right now but it's a great role for him IMO

Can't wait for more eastsiders and here's hoping more indepth interviews from Van

Loved the interview. The partner word doesn't bother me - lots of gay people use the term. It would be nice if he used a name though.

I started watching Eastsiders for Van - but now enjoy the series beyond that. I did donate to the series, so I hope it does stay free.
